Welcome at the homepage of UCB CONTIPROFILE, s.r.o., the producer of the Unibar continually cast iron profiles.

The production of continually-cast iron bars started in Czech Republic in 1968 in Králodvorské Železárny. Contiprofile s.r.o. was established in 1993 by Králodvorské Železárny, a.s. and German company Servo Dyn Technik GmbH, Dresden. From 5.6.2000, our company is a member of United Cast Bar Ltd. (Great Britain) group, under the new name UCB Contiprofile, s.r.o.

Our company, as a member of the international UCB group - the group of companies dealing with development, production and sales of continually-cast iron bars and ingot castings, offers the material from own production, as well as the material made in our sister companies in England and Spain. These foundries have very good know-how and large experience on the field of continual casting, starting from the birth of this production technology, and in the present time, they belong to the biggest and nost modern foundries of this type in the world.

The base of our business is production of the continually cast iron bars, according to the UNIBAR standard, which is the the standard of the widest production range of continually cast bars.

The general division of the basic material is:
- Cast iron with lamellar graphite - Grey Iron - simple and low-alloyed
- Cast iron with nodular graphite - Ductile Iron (or SG iron)

The technology of our production is made so that the final product conforms with its features the UNIBAR standard, which is based upon many national and international standards - see the "Comparison of standards"
